Vocabulary Reduction

The regular season is coming to an end and the playoffs are just around the corner. With that said, the mainstream media has dusted off their ‘Cubs Glossary of Terms’ and are ready to remind the Faithful of how long it has been since the Cubs last won a championship.

This season’s been full of daily reminders, with that whole anniversary thing, and think about what the players have to deal with on a daily basis and how sick they must be of hearing the same questions….with the same words just rearranged to try to elicit a different response.

In no particular order, here is a list of words and phrases that will hopefully be removed from the Faithful’s vocabulary in the weeks to come….

  • Black Cat
  • Billy Goat
  • Curse
  • William Sianis
