    Touche.

    Matt,

The Reds have had three straight "interm" managers that became the full time manager the next season. Dave Miley, Jerry Narron, both did well when they took over mid-season and got shot for a year or two full time, only to bomb out. I think that the new Reds ownership wanted to go with someone outside the organization for once.

    A sincere good for Dusty.

Always liked him, just wasnt his time here in Chicago. I wish him the best...Like 3rd in the Central. I wish a medium size red machine. I wish for a brusied red leg, and so forth and so on.

Seriously, Dusty is a good manager, and deserves to manage somewhere. I also thought Mckanin was a lock. What did he do wrong?

Great!! Not only do we have another "patsy" in the Central Division; but, I don't have to listen to this idiot on Baseball Tonight!!!!

    What a DA!

Given that some of the Reds prospects played pretty good this year, I wonder how the heck even Baker is going to find room for Nefi Perez? LOL. Seriously, when the Reds are 7 or 8 games back at the break and their number 1 prospect, Homer Baily has arm trouble, I wonder how excited fans will be then.

It will be interesting to see the reaction in Cincy.

Wow! I thought Pete Mackanin was going the get the gig. Baker, a very nice man but a so-so Manager.

Ladies and gentleman, I'm elated. One less contender for 2008 NL Central pennant!

    Long live Baker @Cincinatti!

I need some fireworks to make the day...

    :-D
