Dusty Baker to manage the Reds in 2008

According to a report on ESPN.com Dusty Baker has agreed to a 3-year deal to manage the Cincinnati Reds. The report states Baker will be introduced at a press conference on Monday.

Dusty Baker managed the Cubs from 2003-2006 and compiled a record of 322-326. Baker’s contract was allowed to expire at the end of the 2006 season. Baker has been an analyst for ESPN this season and will continue to work for the network during the post season. Baker has been working with Jon Miller on the radio side of the World Wide Leader.
