The Cubs made the roster move official on Tuesday afternoon that ESPN 1000 in Chicago reported on Monday. The Cubs recalled Sean Marshall and he will make his first start of the season on Wednesday against the San Diego Padres. In order to make room on the 25-man roster the Cubs optioned Neal Cotts to Triple-A Iowa.
Angel Guzman, Carlos Marmol, Scott Eyre, Bobby Howry, Will Ohman, Michael Wuertz and Ryan Dempster are the seven pitchers currently in Lou Piniella's bullpen.
Update on Wade Miller, despite a report on Cubs.com that stated Miller would rejoin the Cubs on Tuesday in San Diego there has not been an official roster move made to activate Miller from the disabled list.
