Derrek Lee placed on the 15-day DL, Ryan Theriot recalled from Iowa
The Cubs placed Derrek Lee on the 15-day DL on Monday afternoon with post-traumatic inflammation of his right wrist according to several reports out of Chicago. The Cubs recalled Ryan Theriot from Triple-A, who had just rejoined his Iowa teammates this past Friday when Mark Prior was activated off of the DL before his start against the Nationals.

Sports Talk Radio in Chicago are assuming that Derrek Lee will be shut down for the rest of the season but there has not been an official announcement made to that fact. Will update if and when more information becomes available.
