We are not able to see or hear the split-squad game with the Royals. We are watching the WGN-TV cast of the Cubs-A's game...and, of course, the Texas vs. LSU basketball game in the NCAA!

Right now, it is 0-0 in the bottom of the ninth inning....with the Cubs winning run at third base....

I agree about Selig, but with baseball being more popular than ever...no one will remove him from office. Bonds' day will come.

Just my opinion, of course.... but, is there a more incompetent so-called commissioner in ANY professional sport than the so-called "commissioner" of MLB? This guy continues to play his political game...with the president...and allows juicers, corkers, and liars to continue to dominate the headlines of MLB. Whatever happened to the so-called "integrity of the game?"

I love the mantra, "Stay Classy Cubs Fans;" but, it is very difficult to do this with ilk like the so-called "commissioner" representing professional major league baseball.

Just my opinion....I could be wrong.

Cubs 3 Royals 0, top of 2nd - Barrett Home Run

Marshall is looking good, great curve - struck out the side in the 2nd - 4 strikeouts, 2 walks, 0 hits

Bud Selig is at HoHoKam, so is Dusty. Rich Hill will pitch after Jerome Williams against the Royals and Angel Guzman will pitch after Marshall.

Other than a walk to Bradley, Marshall looks good. Good curve ball. Blanco is moving his glove a lot less than with Glendon Rusch, Marshall is hitting his spots.
